Massage Therapy is the use of pressure to manipulate the superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissues. Various techniques are available to achieve this which are carried out by a qualified massage therapist.
I’m happy to any area if it is agreed beforehand. If travelling into a congestion area then the £15 congestion charge will need to covered. Furthermore, travel expenses apply when travelling more than 15miles from my address (SE9 postcode).
The only thing you will to provide will be the towels and space for the massage table.
This depends on the level of tension your are experiencing and your specific needs. Please ask us for further advice.
We use grape seed oil and NAQI massage lotion as they are both non allergic products. Some essential oils can also be used depending on your preference.
Please re-arrange or avoid making an appointment if you are experiencing any of the following:
- Suffering from flu or general cold
- Contagious infections
- Covid-19 symptoms (new persistent cough, fever, loss or change in taste/smell)
For the large majority of people, massage therapy is completely safe. However for a minority, it is not advisable.
If you have any of the below conditions, then getting a massage might not be suitable. We would advise you discuss your wish to have a massage with your doctor. Even then, we would recommend you discuss your health conditions with me before the massage.

You will likely feel very relaxed and have reduced pain and tension in your body. Some may experience some sleepiness after a massage, after which they will feel increased awareness and energy.
If you have a deep tissue massage, you may feel some mild soreness the following day.
